Pillar 01 · Protection & Insurance

Insured correctly. Not as much as possible.

Most high earners in Germany are over-insured where it does not hurt and under-insured where it counts. We sort out what you really need, and what you do not.

Three building blocks

What really matters, for your situation.

We are brokers, not tied to a single insurer. We compare providers across health, life and property insurance, no product gets priority. Each block solves a different problem. Which order fits you is something we work out in the call.

Health insurance & healthcare

Everything that covers medical care and your physical health.

Public or private, plus long-term care, dental, sick pay or international cover: this area holds everything that pays for doctors, hospital, medication and care when it matters. The basic choice between public and private has long-term consequences. We run both paths with your numbers.

Life insurance

Pension and personal risk: everything that covers death and disability, and private retirement provision.

Legally, life insurance is the umbrella term for two things: protection against the risks that threaten your livelihood, meaning death and disability, and building private retirement provision. Both rest on your ability to work: 30 years of €90,000 is €2.7 million. We cover the risk first, then build the pension so the tax lever works for you.

03
Clients celebrating a signed plan

Property insurance

Property and liability: everything that protects what you own or pays for damage to someone else's property.

This bucket holds policies for things: your flat, your house, your car, and the damage you accidentally cause to others. Personal liability is the one policy nobody should skip, because in Germany you are liable without limit, down to your personal assets. With the rest, people are often insured twice and forget the one that matters. We tidy up the paperwork and close the gaps that can get expensive.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

01Should I go on public or private health insurance?+

It depends on your income, age, family situation and how long you plan to stay in Germany. It is one of the most consequential financial decisions you make here. We run both scenarios with numbers specific to you.

02I have just moved to Germany. What should I sort out first?+

Three things, in order. First, health insurance: mandatory within weeks of arrival, and the public versus private decision has long-term consequences. Second, personal liability insurance: inexpensive, non-negotiable in Germany, often overlooked by expats. Third, your tax class and pension options. Everything else can wait.

03How are you paid, and how is that different from a bank advisor?+

Depending on the best solution for you, we work on a fee basis or receive a commission from product providers. Either way, we explain our compensation clearly at the start of the first meeting.

04What happens on the intro call?+

We start with a phone call. You tell us where you stand and what is on your mind. If there is a fit, we follow up with a personal financial analysis and a written plan that is yours to keep.
